If you have never enrolled in a course at Blinn, apply now using the online ApplyTexas application. Once you have completed your admissions file, you are eligible to register for credit classes at all Blinn College District locations and online.Choose the admissions pathway for you!
New College Student
I am a high school graduate or have high school equivalency and have never attended college, or was a dual credit student at another college.

No, the admissions process is the same for veterans and their dependents as it is for any incoming student. For more information regarding veterans benefits, please visit our veteran services page.
Yes, there is housing offered on our Brenham campus. For more information, please visit our housing and residence life page. You can also visit our parking page for more information regarding parking availability.
Students may order a transcript at any time during a semester through our transcript request page and/or request that it be held and then sent out after all current semester grades or degrees are posted.
Yes, Blinn does offer options for making your payment. Payment plans are offered allowing you to make multiple smaller payments so you won’t have to pay everything at the beginning of each semester. Students may pay in person at any Blinn campus or online via their myBLINN portal. For general payment information, please visit our payment dates and methods page.

If you have submitted scores and still have a hold on your account, please check to make sure the scores you submitted exempted you from taking the TSI. Visit the TSI Exemptions page to view all of the qualifying exemptions.
These students must meet with an academic advisor before registering:
- Students who are not college ready (those who don’t meet the benchmarks on any part of the state-required assessment test)
- Students on Academic Probation
- Students on Academic Suspension
NSR is New Student Registration available to first time freshman who apply for a summer or fall semester. For more information about NSR please visit the New Student Registration page.
All students are required to take the TSIA placement exam, or show proof of an exemption or waiver. Visit the TSI Exemptions and Waivers page for information regarding exemptions and waivers you may qualify for.
If you do not qualify for an exemption or waiver, you will need to take the TSIA placement exam. The test can be taken in-person at multiple Blinn campuses, online, or at another institution. View the How to Take the TSI Assessment webpage for more information.
The majority of admissions documents can be submitted through your myBLINN portal under the admissions form's icon. You can visit the Admissions Forms page for a list of commonly submitted admissions forms.
Students who successfully completed a Blinn College Preparatory Courses during their senior year of high school will receive a waiver of TSI requ irements. Students can complete a preparatory course for ELA and/or Mathematics. Visit our HB5 /Texas College Bridge page for more information or email hb5help@alexblog.net .
Students can update their contact information using the Student Data Change Form.
